Found this part connecting the driver's side engine block to the manual trans lower bell housing was cracked today while changing my steering rack bushings. I can't find it in any of the online OEM parts listings. Any idea what it's called or what Toyota's part number is for it? It's a 2.4l base 5-lug taco.

Try looking for stiffener plate, I believe that is what you are looking for. About $90 or so. Toyota parts Center Online says they have them in stock.

Thanks for the ID on the part. It's actually the left hand (driver's side) stiffener bracket. After much digging I'm getting 33119-35040 as the part number. Seems near impossible to find online however.

Ah, this sounds like a good junkyard part scavenge, try a couple good junkyard data bases. I've had decent luck doing that in the past for old land Cruiser parts.
