Cracked firewall by clutch master cylinder. Any ideas on how to repair?

    Any ideas on how to repair a cracked firewall near clutch master cylinder in 04 2.7L?

    Make a plate tack it in place.

    Just how big of a crack ? Pictures are a great help to know just what we are looking at.

    Toytec coilovers. Height adjustable Bilstein's. 265/75/16 MT. TRD wheels. Rebuilt r150f. Marlin clutch kit. All kinds of new parts...
    I remember my old 90 pickup doing that. Threw the clutch straight through the firewall because of rust. lol I had to make a plate and weld it in. Fixed it no problem. Just be careful of wires and heat! hopefully you can source a welder or know someone who can.
