Cracked on windshield: OEM or factory from safelite?

    To the people saying 'Don't go with XYZ brand - it broke 39573957 times in 6 days", WTF are you doing that breaks windshields that often?

    I think the installer is more important than the glass, personally. Though, I guess that's no help. lol

    Had mine replaced by Safelite, asked for OEM and Geico approved it, so just cost me the $50 deductible. The Safelite counter dude seemed cool so I told him I didn't mind waiting for an experienced tech, so he said "i got you" and I did wait about 20 minutes past my appointment time but ended up with a really good installer who did an amazing job on it.

    Mine cracked 2 weeks after owning the truck back in 2016. Safelite changed it out with an apparent aftermarket. What I noticed back then is that the Gopro mount no longer said Gopro on it and it was so tight putting a GoPro accessory in the mount that it made it useless now. Doesn't matter to me now because I haven't used a Gopro is many years...
