These windshields do seem a bit soft. I have quite a few tiny chips in the windshield already. Thankfully none have become a crack, but I know its only a matter of time before I need to replace this windshield.

Mine just magically cracked from bottom passenger side, no visible points of impact, going to dealer on Monday to see if they'll cover it.

Drove north on the Alcan once, south on the Cassiar twice. That equated to 3 cracked windshields. Oh, and another heading to Fairbanks passing Tok.

I don't think it will fix the crack from the top to the bottom on both the outside and inside pieces of glass...

I've never had glass crack on the inside!

so, has anyone found a suitable aftermarket solution? are there any a/m screens of higher quality? in my previous vehicles the OEM was the good stuff, and the a/m parts were budget quality for the most part. hoping for the opposite possibility here. because i have no good luck with windshields fo sho.
