Soo.. My cheap ass hired a guy from craigslist to fix dent.... costing me $400. The dealership was charging me $1,200. I really regret that decision..... cheap work ain't good work.... I know I know I should've bought sliders.... :(

I mean, it doesnt look bad, if it was shiny I bet no would notice.

EDIT, make sure you pop the rubber plugs out of the rocker and spray the living hell out of it with fluid film or some sort of rust preventer. Any paint cracking on the front will also have paint cracking on the back.

There are some good youtube tutorials on how to fix minor dents like that. I'm sure you can make that section of paint look better by looking up how to blend and clear coat using just rattle can paint.

When you can see the mistakes right in the finish you know the work is bad!

Sliders were the very first mod I did. I learned from my old XJ. That being said I think Balut should not be in a taco. Only after consuming copious amounts of red horse and tanduay rum.

That's pretty thick. Tempted to say get it redone because Bondo that thick can fail. But it can also be fine. Just keep an eye on it.

Throw some 20 degree sliders on it. That will help hide it and protect from future bumps

Similar experience getting parts painted at a craigslist paint shop. 1/4 cost, 1/4 quality. It's proportional. Turned out ok I guess, and I guess that's all we can expect- ok.

water will get in there eventually, just the moisture in the air will cause rust

But, since there was enough metal bending to crack the paint on the outside, I would spray fluid film up in there to cover any area that may of cracked.

You will most likely have issues with that repair in the future. I’d eat the $400 and get it redone at a professional shop. Just my 2 cents though! If you’re fine with it, then fuck it
