Greetings….after much careful forum study, I finally decided to post as I am at a breaking point.
I have an 2002 taco 4dr TRD v6(5ze), 382,xxx miles, complete with new, non oed, yet perfectly functional replacement parts: new starter, alternator, battery, water pump, belts, coil packs, plugs, wires, igniter, ignition cylinder, filters (air, fuel, etc), fuel pump, cam sensor, crank sensor, throttle and intake gaskets, new AIV, tps, new relays & fuses, new battery terminals, repaired every* charred wire (excluding connectors pins I may not have come across yet, but all seem and test + thus far w/ multimeter), no codes, although I cleared them and engine hasn’t run since although the only light was cel for tps and ops, which ops is disconnected but it has started and ran well ONE time since the day I tried* changing ops, (broken connector, have new one on order) BUT should run despite ops disconnect. Am getting spark, fuel, air, even direct power to fuel pump to bypass relay, still no start. Not getting any rpm’s when cranking and I know crank switch is new, not that the old one was bad, IS getting spark. I thought maybe oil got on crank and us slipping sensor but this truck, since I changed some part some time ago, has since occasionally done this, and for now logical, apparent reason or amount of mechanical maintenance, will start, or not start, only this time it’s not. I love this truck and am at a bitter fallout with either Toyota, laws of physics/mechanics, or with He, himself, the Great ‘Yota God of superior, yet-mildly dysfunctional designs/products of trucks.
I’ve been thorough, even to the point of redundancy, in my work, please offer guidance ⚙️
