    Would a bad MAF sensor cause a no start. I replaced fuel pump and same situation.

    Can't say I've ever heard of that, but I guess it could be possible in the right circumstances. More than likely you have another issue though.

    MAF sensor doesn't come into play until at least a few seconds after running.

    On startup the pcm only looks at coolant temp sensor

    You need to do some testing

    v6 or 4cyl? Timing belt good? Check compression.

    confirming compression is where i'd start. If thats good, try a shot of ether to see if it trys to start.
