Cranks, but no start 08 Tacoma 2.7L 5 lug base model

    I don't know if this means anything; but my friend did say that the STOP light fuse (10A) kept blowing occasionally and he would just replace the fuse. This was while the truck was running.

    I can't think of anything else it could be other than a dead PCM, I wish someone else would chime in that knows Toyota engine management better. Only other things I can think of to try is unplugging the secodary air injection driver and alternator and seeing if anything changes, can't see those knocking the PCM offline but I suppose it could be possible.

    I couldn't see that hurting anything unless someone put a bigger fuse in it and melted some wiring or something.

    I use the Lisle Terminal Tool Set and haven't found much it wont work on but some you can get with a pick and a mini flat screwdriver.
    If I recall correctly the Toyota connectors have a little lever that has to be flipped up and then each pin can be unlatched individually.
