    I have a 2005 Tacoma Prerunner 4L V6.
I just replaced the front main seal as it had a small leak, I am also replacing the crank pulley as I notice it had some vibration due to the rubber being worn and missing chunks of the rubber (probably due to the leaky oil seal). My Chilton Manual says to torque the crank pulley bolt to 185 FTLB but I've seen 217 FTLB mentioned on this forum in a few places. My crank pulley bolt has the separate floating washer.

Could someone help clarify are cite a source about the proper torque for this?

I see 184 ft-lbs in my book for the 1GR-FE

Funny, Ive never looked it up before. But I definitely recall reading somewhere on here it was in the low 200s

The higher torque spec is for when you have a S/C.
