Crashed my 03 tacoma

    20160721_203857.jpg Im 17 years old and i had my first crash in my 03 tocoma.....long story short i need help....it still runs fine i bent the bumper back so i could drive it home but as of now it is in my driveway....the frame is in good shape but the metal behind the bumper is bent back i was wondering if i could bend it back or am i better off just getting a new metal piece??

    A few OE parts from fancy trucks
    Not sure exactly what 'piece' you are talking about.

    You can always try reshaping that piece, and if it doesn't work, replace it. Getting the part from a junkyard will save serious $.

    Another important thing to consider is 'why' did you crash and how you will avoid that happening again. Part of the learning process. Glad it sounds simple.

    Is the hood bent too? The fender? Id have it checked by someone who knows what they're doing.

    I betting the hood is tweaked. I would honestly take it to a reputable body shop and have them fix the core support and surrounding areas... You can try and bend the fenders back out a bit and see how it lines up.

    searching the local junkyards should produce any and all of the parts for the front end. they will cut the parts out and you can take it to a body shop, welder, or someone else willing and able to put her back together. that is, if the bending back to shape doesn't work.
