    Hey all
    Someone hit me '03
I didnt have collision insurance and the other insurance is taking no liability, so I get nothing.
Should I just sell it as is?
How much do you think I can get?
    Should I fix it?
Photo looks worse than it is, i think.
I can junk yard a door and it def needs a CV, ball joint, and radiator.
It doesnt need to be showroom quality, just drivable again.
    153,000 miles V6 4x4
    Replaced frame
    Thoughts?

Based on your location saying NY and the bedside rust above the rear wheel, my internet opinion is that it's not worth trying to save. If you have the patience, you could likely make a few bucks parting it out, like the interior pieces, drivetrain pieces in good condition, etc. and then scrapping whatever is left.

Very questionable. It may be drivable again, probably never be safe again.

Why is the other drivers insurance not covering it?

Hard to tell, but I would think so.
Impact wasnt that hard, more of a side swipe.

Check the frame closely where the front upper/lower control arms bolt on, if it's bent there it will never drive straight

If the frames not bent I’d totally fix it! I repaired way worse on my Tacoma that had nasty front end damage. Thing looks nice and has low miles, totally worth it imo.

Not helpful now, but when you get it fixed or get another truck get a dashcam.

Another taco down. Sorry this happened. See what happens with the insurance but it may be worth it especially is they give u some money for it.

Also good luck with all the insurance crap. It sounds like they are trying to pull some bologna.

I would probably contact an attorney. I am baffled as to how getting T-boned is your fault. no matter if its his word against yours

    I did
Small claims court in my area maxes out at 3,000.
Might not be worth the headache.
Beyond small claims court, the attorney said the fees would be more than what we could "win"
    It kinda sucks.

It seems like there might be more to this story. Was there a police report? Fault is usually determined there. Even though you only have liability coverage, is your insurance unwilling to help you with 'them', presumably the other persons insurance. Next thing you know, 'they' will be coming after you for damages.

Agreed. If you got T-boned, the layout of the roadway where it occurred should make it easy to establish who had the right of way. Given the damage, shouldn't there be a police report for this?

It was more of a side swipe than a T bone.
We were on the highway. I was changing lanes into an open lane and they were speeding and switching lanes too.
They came from behind me and hit me.
They said I moved into them, I said that they were speeding and driving erratic.
My insurance is not really willing to help much, and their insurance says it my word against theirs and they are siding with their insured.
