Several vendors there have them in stock with free Australia-wide shipping. There are also some on Australia ebay from a wheel vendor, with free Australia-wide shipping. If the 3 are available domestically, I'd likely just order 2 from Australia to have a complete set of 5. I'd ship those to a local Australia address and then need the person to take them to a 3rd party shipper to ship to the US.

If you’re going to this level, I’d consider 6 so you have two spares. Just in case you trash one. Keep the spare spare in the garage NIB and maybe sell for profit as NOS years from now.

 

It looks like method has 2 in gloss titanium, but everyone else seems to drop ship and not have their own stock.

Closest alternative I can think of is the motegi trailite and 23.9lbs but more poke at +18 so 1/8th inchish. Also probably not flow formed.

 

Thanks for the alternative suggestion! That is pretty close and still lighter than stock, something worth considering. I really would like +25 offset, but after I figure out shipping prices I’m sure I’d be more open to +18.

 

Proud owner of a new Australian address for freight forwarding.

I've purchase all remaining domestic Method 313s in addition to 3 from over seas, giving me a total of 6 wheels, in case one gets destroyed on the trail. A little nervous about purchasing the wheels from 3 different sources, including the 3 from over seas at a stupid premium, in order to put together a full set with one mismatched spare since the wheels are discontinued from the manufacturer. But no other wheel is as light or as strong in the desired size. Fingers crossed it all works out.

Well F. The single wheel off eBay isn’t available. Down to 5. Considering bailing and going with the Trailite instead vs adding another way overpriced unit out of Australia.

 

Sometimes the cards are stacked against you, huh? Seems like a reasonable time for re-evaluation.

 

What is also interesting Motegi lists the bronze Trailite wheels as not fitting, but the black ones as fitting. Clearly not accurate, but the Gladiators brakes are so large not all 17s may fit and I can’t find anyone running them on a Gladiator. Hmm.

 

Just buy both ‍♂️

The 2 domestic 313s have shipped. Just now waiting on the 3 out of Australia.

 

FAIL. Despite inquiring on stock before ordering, the Australian company is out of stock on 313s.

I think everyone drop ships and they're all looking at the same 2 or 3 wheels unfortunately maybe there will be some luck on the second hand market?

 

I had directly inquired about their own warehouse stock vs drop shipping. I’ve also exhaustively searched the 2nd hand market. I guess 1-2 companies to ping in Australia, then hope the 313s are returnable.
