Not sure if it is new for 2022, but the Gladiator now has Jeeps Select-Trac full time 4wd system as an option. Which is basically an additional transfer case setting that does auto-4wd if it detects slippage. While not as good as full time AWD, that is a feature I've definitely desired and would find really useful for driving over the passes when it is those rain/slush/sleet conditions that are not really enough for 4wd but also not ideal for a RWD with no weight in the rear.

Hopefully you can just update the ECU firmware with HP Tuners or something to add this feature.

Not the case unfortunately, it would definitely need hardware to support it. The JT’s 4wd is manually actuated with a physical Tcase shifter, unlike the Tacoma where it is electronic. I’m pretty sure it is a different transfer case for the auto-4WD function.

Apparently on the last wheeling trip I damaged the TPMS module and tore the wiring harness to it. I thought I had a bad TPMS sensor after replacing my punctured tire on the trail, but it was weird the whole TPMS system was offline. Turns out that isn't normal. Awesome.

I also received 2 of the 4 wheels today, because FedEx cannot deliver an entire shipment at once. Other 2 are due tomorrow with the tires coming in on Friday. Planning on getting to work this weekend.

The only full aluminum performance radiator I could find for the JL/JT is by Cold Case, which is somewhat understandable being the platform is relatively new. After the high temps wheeling, I ordered one. After I started to tear the truck apart for install, I double checked the radiator. It appeared to have the main horizontal supports cut through on both top and bottom.

Annoyed. It appeared someone had done some hack experimenting and returned a butchered radiator and Cold Case didn't check it before reselling. @memario1214 was awesome in working with Cold Case to get a new unit sent out.

    The new unit:

Looks like Cold Case has some serious QC issues.

I was waiting on them for FGT but caved and went mishimoto. I like made in the USA but I also like quality.

I had this feature in my previous 21 JTR and I used it in the snow a few times. I didn't use it enough to be able to tell if it was a feature I really wanted or not. In my current 21 JTDR I do not have that option and feel fine without.

Nothing like cutting out the primary support structures of the radiator so you rely on your cooling B-tubes to hold the thing together. It will expand and flex alright, awesome for chassis flex on the trail. Great way to fastback that head gasket mod.

Cold Case claims cutting the primary supports for the radiator is a new design improvement to prevent cracking and that there should have been documentation included with the radiator documenting the design "enhancement".

I'll have to check with CSF and Mishimoto on if they have JL/JT units in the pipeline. Mishimoto and CSF both have them for other Jeep Wrangler models, so it seems highly likely.

I think those wheels look killer. Probably unlike most folks, I think the best part is that they're not black. I am so done with black wheels! Can't wait to see what they look like with tires on the Jeep!

So it is an expansion joint! Sometimes I hate it when I'm right - especially when I'm joking. Kind of interesting that other folks have been making aluminum radiators for years and don't need this "feature." Hmmm.

Hm, at 1meter wide you would need to heat aluminum 932° F above ambient to expand 1mm. Scaling down by 1/5 and using 0°F for ambient. Radiator might expand .2 mm in width at 186.4° F.
