Modifications are bad and only bad people modify.
Exactly, it's qualification 101. I hope you love your new truck man! I think it's badass!

After Jeep's refusal to honor the warranty or work on the truck due to the supercharger, I've towed the truck to an engine swap and supercharger install specialist. I'll be paying for a long block swap cash out of pocket. Afterwards I intend to sell the Gladiator and liquidate everything Jeep related.

How are you feeling about this statement?

"Agreed not the Chrysler point. The Pentastar 3.6 has a reputation for being an outstanding engine though, and it has been around long enough for its dependability to be tested (introduced in 2012)."

Eventually a Rivian, but that is still a ways out. In the mean time it will be a performance oriented Tesla, while toying with adding an older Toyota truck.

Ironic. Performance shop said the Pentastars were very reliable, but after they light weighted the engine in the latest gen, reliability went out the window.

Ah man, sorry to hear that. I was excited to follow along on the journey now that things were pretty dialed with wheels/tires, lift, skids, et al.

I came across a half dozen Gladiators in Canyonlands Maze District last week with the Tacoma - which did great, BTW. 32’s and the Baja Suspension were more than enough and the sliders (gone now) were not needed with careful placement in spots.

Hopefully you can "break even" in this current inflated market.

Glad to hear the Tacoma is treating you well! That was definitely the best truck I've had.

I actually got the Gladiator dialed in a bit better too. I removed the 2" AEV, and with the 37s on the +30 Visions, it was perfectly proportional. The AEV lift made it too tall and narrow while keeping the tires under the truck, the height to track width ratio was all wrong. With the lift removed there was no rubbing in any testing I did, granted I hadn't taken it out on the trail again yet. Dropping the 2" lift did mean I wouldn't be able to run the full skid system I wanted, but my thought was to run everything but the oil pan skid (which is what requires the 2" lift to clear the front axle and also doesn't have one stock), so I'd still get the 3/4" tummy tuck and the continuous skid system, while being lighter weight.

Unfortunately I didn't take any good pics post lift removal. Here is one of it sitting dead after being dropped off at the Jeep maintenance facility.

Man this makes me so sad. Are you going to sell the truck with all mods or are you going to part out some of them?

I'll remove the headlight and foglight upgrades, otherwise the truck will be sold as is. If I end up trading it in, I'll swap the wheels and tires back to special edition Mojave wheels on 35s. I've got many thousands of dollars in yet-to-be installed parts that will be sold off separately.

I'm sure there are other things that I am forgetting at the moment, but gives an idea.

I’m curious if that tire inflation system works in a Diesel engine bay. I didn’t find any information regarding fitment regarding engine options.

Seems like if nothing is mounted here on the diesel, it would work. The rest is just hoses.
