When we bought my wife’s Highlander in 2013 Not two weeks after getting it (we lived in Midland, TX at the time) I was driving home from going to the store and ended feeling the familiar sound of a flat tire. Pulled over and noticed a sucker rod from a pump jack sticking out of the side of the tread of the tire. Luckily we had the road hazard warranty!

my own tires, a complete steak knife, and a complete centerpunch. When I used to work at a gas station and fix tires, complete unspent 30.06 rifle bullet, a lot of bones, probably from all the possums around here, a lot of drill bits. Those are the weirdest things I remember.

A razor blade-almost an instant flat, a spark plug-not repairable, and a 12”-14” gutter spike/nail-went in about 4”, bent, and made all sorts of racket as it slapped the inner fender. Also other random pieces of metal, rocks, nails, screws, etc.

Still not sure what I hit. I was doing 67 mph on the interstate instant flat. Pulled over no sign of anything in the road. By the time I finished changing the tire there was a civic pulled over 1/4 mile down losing all its coolant. I think the demolition of the median had a chunk miss the truck when loading or fall out and it was camouflaged in the road. $200 to replace.
