Crazy noise while truck is off. Wtf?

So , I just walk into my garage and my truck is off and has been for about 4 hours. It sounds like my fuel pump is constantly running, or something electrical is. For whatever reason I can’t post the video I just took. EDIT ...... The sound just cut off after running about 15 minutes. Is it possible that it’s my fuel tank venting ????

 

Perfectly normal, and yes it says so in the owners manual.

Cool cool. First time I’ve ever heard it. LMAO. I figured it was something fuel related, but was sketched out because the truck has been cooled off for a very long time. Thanks

LMAO !! I wonder what my truck is thinking while I’m sleeping now. Maybe it’s plotting. Maybe , just maybe the Terminator movies were true. I sure as hell don’t want a Transformer coming to life in my garage. It would completely fck up my man cave.

I've owned my '17 Limited for 2 1/2 years and have yet to hear this testing nor the injector self clean cycle. My truck hates me.

 

Every time I turn my truck off, it sounds like it’s yacking something up... (only lasts 10ish seconds) might be the fuel because I can only hear it coming from under the passenger side of the bed.

My cat and my truck make the same noises now apparently.

 

Truck was needing some alone time. Toyota says this is normal.

 

Like everyone else has said, its normal. It totally sketched me out one night while I was working in my garage. My wife's 18 Highlander does it too and usually hers will start up right after mine has finished or vice versa.

Had the same experience with my Taco. Went into my garage, heard this electrical groaning coming from underneath the truck about 4 hours after getting home from work. I remember also that my heart sank. Of course, I immediately checked into TW and was set straight. Whew...

Not everyone is in the mafia. You can tell that my uncle is because he wears a track suit and has gold chains around his neck. He even had to register his hands as deadly weapons with the FBI, the CIA and the PTA.

 

Right. And we’ve been over this before. Go to your garage and scream at the truck, ask it what it’s name is. Knowing the demons name gives you power over it.

 

You can also tell by the CPAP machine marks on the face if you catch them early enough in the morning.
