Lately I have been having problems with my clutch pedal creaking after a while of driving. I have tried greasing all the moving parts in the clutch assembly but the creaking won't go away.

Has anyone else had this problem?
    Any suggestions?

    Thanks

There is a TSB for creaky clutch pedal. My experience is the TSB doesn't work for long.

I've had the throw out bearing replaced & 2 clutch pedals break. So, no it doesn't go away.

Rotate the connecting rod a quarter turn. Worked for me hasn't creaked in years.

If the creaking you speak of is coming from up under the pedal, grab a flashlight and some white lithium grease and spray a little up under where the clutch pedal arm makes contact. That is where the creak comes from. I have to spray a little grease up there once every couple months. Don't bother with taking to the dealer. I know its annoying, but thats what you have to do if the creak starts to annoy you bad enough.

This! I've done this on 3 different tacoma's and they've all stopped creaking

A little of this and a little of that.

I've sprayed mine with white lithium grease & it's been quiet. I'll try rotating the connecting rod if the creak returns. Thanks!

The noise is definitely coming from the inside. I will try rotating the connecting rod. Thanks!

That noise is chronic. My 2000 first gen. creaked. Anything I did to it would work for a few weeks only. My 2009 has just started to do it. Thanks for the tip.

    Nothing but a softtopper yet

Just did this ,after the dealer couldn't find it the last two times it was in for service.
Glad I finally searched for some help on this problem...

Mine was creaking for a bit but then it went away. I'll remember this fix/hack though if it comes back!

After a while the connecting rod trick no longer works. Just so you know. I have a 2014.
