I have a 2011 ACLB with a manual 6 speed @ 132k miles. I noticed the past few days that the clutch peddle is really creaky. Meaning when I push the clutch in it is smooth. But, when I release the clutch under pressure (when the truck is in a gear moving) it creaks loudly on the return to the up position. When I got home today I tried to see where it could be coming from while in park, but since there is no load on the clutch while parked, there is no sound. I do feel a very sleight vibration so I assume it is in the peddle itself or the mechanism by my feet that the peddle is attached to. Has anyone had this issue or have an idea how to resolve it? My opinion is that something either needs grease or a new bushing somewhere in the clutch peddle assembly, but before I go tearing something apart that I don't understand I should ask the internet.

If it's in the truck, just poke around and grease joints.

If outside, the fork engagement is first to lube.

If that doesn't do it, throw out bearing is likely unhappy. If that's the case, let it squeak till a lot worse and/or you need a clutch too.

I’ve tried spray lubes and that only lasts a little bit. If I remember correctly it’s from the little spring on the peddle arm. I’d recommend greasing all moving parts lol just use high temp grease so the floor heat doesn’t cause it to drip.

I don't have the exact answer, but it is very common. Some grease on something on the pedal assembly quiets it right up.

76D0DA49-A049-4FA8-AC47-D7592A9AF2C1.jpg Mine does this too. There is something about this part and the paint marking. There’s a thread somewhere about it. I’ll see if I can’t find it. I followed the directions in that thread and it worked for a good while. I’ve just been too busy and lazy the last few months to look it back up and adjust it again. I just took this pic and rotated the shaft so the paint markings are where they are now. I’m about to head out and I’ll see if that had any affect on the squeak and report back later

this is in the cab under the dash

I spray mine with white lithium grease a couple times a year and it keeps it quiet

Mine does this every once in a while, it usually goes away in a day or so and comes back when the weather starts to get pretty cold. Never happens in the summer though.

I slapped some grease on the moving clutch parts in the cab a few years ago and I haven't heard it since.

I hosed all the moving parts with chain lube a few years ago and it's been good since. Before that, I would use WD-40. It would go away for a few months but always came back.
A little thicker lube seems to be working better. Chain lube has some solvents in it for a carrier of sorts, which allows it to wick into some of the tight spots. The solvent flashes off and leaves a thicker lube.
I also use it on the sandwiched portions of my frame, then Fluid Film the rest.

I put that sh@t on everything....
