Just to be clear. I only said those things because some people were blaming me for the problem. My local dealership looked at it several times since I've owned it and assured me I didn't have a problem.

 

I know, I read the whole thread and some people were saying some pretty stupid things but that does happen on here quite often. Happy for you and can't imagine what a load that is off your mind. Stay healthy !

 

Thanks . I'm sure my username brought out the venom from some people, but at least it got some attention. I'm looking forward to changing my username but not until I'm driving a safe truck. Between my dealership and corporate it seemed like they were doing everything they could to not honor their warranty. I guess that explains why it took a class action suit.

 

Update us when you find out more info. Glad you got a dealership to agree that the frame is kaput.

 

Thanks. Still not holding my breath. I couldn't believe anyone could pass that frame especially someone with the title Master Technician. Oh boy, better shut up until it's approved. The dealership just called and they need more pictures to get final approval from corporate. I'm still not convinced this site hasn't been infiltrated. Wish I could add a lol but nah.

 

It ain't over until it's over. I'm just waiting for the phat lady to sing. Then I can feel relieved!!!

 

Frame Inspection, .5 hours book time, time spent on inspection, .05 hours. Bill and work on something else.

I think this guy was being sarcastic, saying that instead of solving the frame problem Toyota would probably start making crappy engines that won't outlast their frames. Illustrating absurdity with absurdity is my kind of humor.

 

My dealership would have said don't worry it will straighten back out when we put it back on the floor.

 

You're going to get your frame. You just had to find the right dealer who doesn't mind doing them.
