Creationism vs. Evolution

It's my middle name, as well as my dad's middle name. It is also my grandfather's first name, as well as his father's first name.



How did I come NOT to believe in God? I don't know. I chose not to believe in a fictional text and went with scientifical evidence instead.

There is nothing that anyone can say here that is going to change what your scholars have injected into your mind to silence your soul on a daily basis! These ARE Godless times, and, judging by your age, you are in the thick of it. Spend 5 lil minutes on MTV and you will get an eyefull of what the youth is being fed! Yesterday my wife was flipping channels and hollered "FRANK! GET IN HERE QUICK!!!" I stubbed the hell out of my toe just to see two joyboys tongue kissing in a bath of stewed tomatoes or something-COME ON!!!!! MTV!! I am not surprized at all that you don't believe in God. I bet he never got a fighting chance with you.

 

i agree that mtv is garbage like the rest of tv. i knock nobody for what they believe. prove that god is real.

In answer to your question, you know I can't prove He is real. I have faith. So do MILLIONS of others. I don't knock you either, how's that?

Somehow, I don't think that ANY of us can PROVE anything that we believe in--its all faith. That's what believing in something is.

 

Yes faith is a concept that some have trouble with. the fact that there is no hard core evidence bothers those who need factual information and statistics

 

There is a difference between evolution and adaptation. The point is that they are still DOGS! Not birds or anything else. Adaptation is a completely different thing than evolution.

Back on topic.
I ask these previous questions because I'm trying to lay a foundation for evolution.

The foundation for creation is Genesis. And as far as proof, I lived without a relationship with God for many years and areas of my life were getting terrible. After accepting the free gift of Jesus Christ I began to see God work in my life and have seen many 'miracles' in my life. You see, even in evolution they claim to have some miracles, but they just don't claim to have a 'miracle maker'. I have a miracle maker.
I will not try to convert you, and you can't convert me. I can only say that if your heart is ever open to God, seek Him and he will be there for you.
Speaking of proof, shoot, none of you exist because I have never seen, heard, touched or smelt any of you. Pictures don't count because they are anywhere on the internet. They just fall in here out of cyberspace every now and then. Except longbow, seen him one time when he gave me a great deal on wheels and tires. I have proof he is a real person.

Want to ask another question. If you can answer it then we can address my foundation.

WHERE ARE THE TRANSITIONAL FOSSIL RECORDS BETWEEN THE PRECAMBRIAN AND CAMBRIAN ERAS???

sorry guys for my breaking of the rules. I will keep those kinds of pics to myself. I found them funny but I knew some of you wouldn't and thats why I posted them. Should of used better judgment. still think you guys are off your rockers believing in god and the bible but thats no excuse.

 

seems a bit condescending the way belittle his beliefs. maybe he has spent time pondering these issues. you don't know how he came to form his conclusions. maybe a little less time watching mtv would do you some good. you want all this respect for your beliefs but don't seem willing to afford derek the same luxury. I met derek and he seems to be a very soulful individual. Maybe give him some credit for his own beliefs rather than implying that they have been injected rather than discovered threw thought.
