Well then obviously a 500 year old man spending 100 years building the Ark changes the equation a bit , that's totally believable

    Ok

I think you have pretty strong opinions about a book you have never read.

I love engaging with people about this topic and am glad to see it on TW. I understand the facts of the evolutionary process and take them as... fact. Not to say that our current understanding of the subject is complete but we are a very young species. Evolution may be just a theory, but so is gravity. I also think that since we are so young, we cant really KNOW what happened, I mean we can take the word of a group of men that for political purposes decided to group a bunch of letters and other writings into one book and market it as Gods truth but I don't find any real answers to any questions that I have in it. And I was raised on the Bible for the better part of my life.

Not Bible bashing, just sharing my opinion and thoughts on the matter. I think that no matter what we see as the truth, we should all agree that it is a good thing to love one another and treat all with respect :)

I once saw a bumper sticker that read, "Churches are just cults with more members."

the jews actually built the pyramids, under Egyptian supervision (put as PC as i can get it). I've seen several videos on evolution theory and everyone has pivotal points that have to have several things go exactly right for it to even be feasable and even then its a huge stretch. It just makes more sense to me that God is bigger and smarter than we are and he put everything together. i think people get a bit naive sometime thinking that we, as humans, are the pentacle of our predecessors (take a look at people as a whole and tell me we are the offsprings of the best and brightest). Every other thing in any field of science, when left alone, time is in a constant state of decomposition or destruction. Nothing else gets better (condition wise anyway) with time, UV damage, oxidation, wind/rain, etc all cause every to deteriorate (law of decay or something like that). living things are effected by those elements plus desease, parasites, and each other. so why would we be exempt?

Not sure where you are getting confused but when you asked me the first time and I responded by telling you I had not read the Bible , what I meant is that I had not read the Bible

I think you may have meant " pinnacle of our predecessors " and not " pentacle "

or maybe you weigh the same as a duck
