That parts good for teaching morals, not for teaching science.

uhhh...no. so if it was "the" flood that killed this horse, that would mean ones like it were on the boat and have now evolved into what they are today since they can show that via DNA?

No, unless you talk with creationists, then you get that claim. Their whole premise is all dating methods are wrong......they have to be, no question.
But they didn't use radiocarbon dating to estimate the age of the horse.

Wow. OK, that's my point. Many natual processes occur so slowly (from a human perspective, anyway) that they are humanly imperceptible by direct observation. It doesn't mean that they don't happen. Like wind or water erosion or rock. Or deforestation. Or desertification. Or the entropic process of a pond changing to a meadow. Or evolution.

Also, all fetuses look incredibly similar in the early stages, insinuating that life came from a common origin.

Glad you like the sig :D

Google image search "syndactyl" for more. It's a condition, which i've seen, where individuals have toes or fingers joined by skin...also called webbed digits ;)

Don't they surgically cut that to remedy?

I've seen the toes left since those won't really pose an issue in very day life. If its possible on the hands yeah. I like this approach.

Could be a mutation or two people who carry the gene from long ago made a baby and the genes just lines up correctly.

My friend was born with a webbed thumb, and so was her mother so its not always a mutation.

You've already rejected all estimates, your mind is closed because it has to be.

Carbon dating doesn't work past 50-60K years. But with a 6000 year world it can't be real.

They don't use carbon dating for that very reason when trying to date things paat that time frame.

In my estimation if there was a passage in the bible aluding to carbon dating you would accept it no questions asked

    In my estimation

They mostly come out at night

    Mostly

What a find! Assembling a draft of the animal's genome from a 700,000-year-old horse fossil is staggering in its implications! As the author says, this is hundreds of thousands of years older than the previous record holder, the genome of an archaic human that lived some 80,000 years ago.

The difficulty Biblical literalists and young earth creationists have with finds like these is they can't explain them away. If you're stuck having to believe that God created the entire universe, including the planet we live on, in six successive 24 hour days, explaining away time scales like these relatively short periods in earth's multi-billion year history is simply out of the question. You couldn't do it and neither can they..

But don't forget, God can make it appear as "he" wishes, just to confuddle us and test our [sic] faith.
