^Exactly. One of my points was actually topical and got skipped, when everything was created the earth was flat and we were the middle of the universe. If you didn't believe this then religion would punish you, sooo what happened there? If 2/3 of the statement is proven false I really have to question the last part too

Don't blame Jesus for Christians. ;)

Doing religious evil is actually one of the Ten Commandments:

"Thou shalt not take the name of the Lord in vain."

People think it means not to curse, but that is not the real meaning. Cursing God means nothing. It's just ugly words from angry immoral failures who blame God because they got the consequences they deserved from their own actions.

Literally translated it actually means not to carry the banner of the Lord in vain...

...which means not to DO evil in God's name.

That's an excellent point, Larry. And one which could actually repeat itself in time. It also leads to another point. Secular leftists today still persist in the view that Christianity is a greater threat than Islam when it obviously is not.

It's ok for one side of the viewpoint to go down any and every rabbit hole it wants to make points..but the opposing side has boundaries?

    Um....

So if that's so easy to interpret... Why is this a thing we talk about?

One can come to the conclusion that even if this is the majority opinion, those who go against the grain aren't severely reprimanded.

You really love drag POLITICS into what is a religious/logic/philosophic debate. Nobody has called you "the religious right". Seriously, nobody brought left wing into this. They aren't mutually exclusive. It's really obnoxious.
