    Really?

You can prove to me that Earth is the only planet? You need to watch some Star Trek and learn what an "M" class planet is. Then, go read about all of the planets we have found that are possibly "M" class. Earth happens to be a nice mix of temperature, distance, location etc. There are other suns and other planets similar to Earth. We're not far away from finding some form of "life" on another planet.

It must be pretty easy to question Evolution when all you have to say when someone questions Creationism is "In the beginning god created the heavens and earth"

The Hebrew verb "bara" (ברא), translated into English as "created", is in the masculine form. While the "he" is implied in Hebrew, English verbs do not distinguish between he, she, and it.

A peculiarity of this verb is that it is always used with God as its subject, meaning that in Hebrew text only God can "bara" something. It is the characteristic verb for God's creative activity in Genesis 1. "Bara" is also used in Genesis 2 verses 3 and 4.

The meaning of "bara" is not to "create" as we think of it in English, but to differentiate/separate and to allocate roles. For example in the creation of Adam and Eve, God is seen as allocating gender roles to "male and female".

This helps illustrate a major difficulty facing those who look to their English Bibles as wholly accurate transliterations/translations of the meaning and intent behind the Hebrew text.

According to the Hebrew text God did not "create" the heavens and the earth out of nothing, as English speakers are led to imagine. Instead it is more in line with original text to say God organized, that he "differentiated/separated" out, "allocating roles" to this newly formed planet, "empty and void" as it was in the beginning.

May I suggest putting the bible down for a couple of days and reading some science? All of your questions have been addressed in detail in peer reviewed journals or books. Have a nice day...

And that is only the 5th word...........

The rest must be unquestionably more or less a solid translation I would have to assume without learning hebrew of that period I'd guess?

    I better get learning.

Just a bunch of old crap
You creationists can take your blind faith with no evidence, your self-righteous ignorance, and your judgement of others who don't believe your nonsense and print it in a book and shove said book right up your narrow-minded arses. Pray on that.

You're right, that's only the 5th word! But it's a word that is critical to a more accurate understanding of what Genesis 1 actually says -- which is not at all in line with the innacurate concepts English Bible readers today typically cling to.

The heavy lifting in such areas has long since been done by others far better equipped. All we have to do is open our eyes and read...

There is a God there has to be an intelligent force behind everything and to those who say evolution is possible please create life from nothing! Try to prove God is not real when over 2000+ sources say the bible is true and actually read the bible before you knock it after all you might learn something new

But why when a person doesn't have the same beliefs do you intentionally annoy them? You just acknowledged it bothers him, why can't you pray for him in private? You really could do more but you choose to annoy instead

That's what everyone seems to be doing too, Giving proven evidence from multiple sources that creationism and the bible is nothing more but brainwashed hypocrisy.

But all you can do is push your easy button, repeat a few quotes from the fictional story book that no one you are referring it to cares to read or take seriously and repeatedly troll around saying that you are praying for them.

It gets annoying since we know the praying does nothing.
