you don't find it the least bit coincidental that the NT was written (by unknown authors) not long after the Romans destroyed the temple in Jerusalem in 70AD?

I love it when people say the "why does it make you mad if you don't believe?" line. The obvious response is to turn that question right around and ask them why it bothers them too.

A blind person would likely accept help. You have not accepted any help in the logical department.

If someone came to you with foolproof evidence that your belief is false you'd ignore it and say something like "that's why you got to have faith"

Exactly, I can't argue with that. But if I do not want to believe in unicorns and fairies then quit trying to tell me that I need to

I don't know what's more offensive, your lack of proper grammar or your lack of logic.

Although I doubt your sketchy number to begin with, I think you've mistaken "true" with "unchanged through recent history." Even if the bible has not changed in 2,000 years, that doesn't prove anything. The Egyptian Book of the Dead is even older. As are numerous religions. Old and true are not synonymous.

So if that same blind person begged you to leave them alone so they could figure out life on their own would you still annoy them? You need to realize sometimes your best help is no help at all, especially when that is what the person is asking for

That's fine by me, since the two views are utterly irreconcilable.

There no one here preventing you from holding your view that the billions of miles of sophisticated genetic code contained within the cells of your own body came about from dumb blind stupid mindless chaotic random chance.

because believing blindly in a fairy tale of magic that a single entity created everything is much more believable.

I think you're getting confused, OZ. Take another look at my comments. You're arguing over another topic with someone else and need to respond to their posts.

Maybe you could find another way to call the opposing side stupid? I have not called anyone stupid, dumb, or any other degrading terms. Is that really all you have? That isn't how your little book says your supposed to behave

What are these 2000+ sources that say the bible is true.

I have provided sources that conclude that a Roman named Flavius Josephus invented jesus.

Funny he is one of those cited as an outside source that references jesus.

'The Roman Origin of Christianity', released as 'Caesar's Messiah' by Joseph Atwill documents the creation of the New Testament as a Roman satire devised to win over Judean dissidents by deceiving them into believing that the emperor Titus Flavius Vespasiani was Jesus! I know, it sounds strange, but that seems to be the way it was. Titus took great pleasure in calling himself "the greatest forger in history."

Good. It's best to be perfectly clear about your view that man came about by dumb blind stupid mindless chaotic random chance.

There's a concrete reason behind the choice either to acknowledge or to deny God. To acknowledge God is to also acknowledge man's personal moral accountability for his behavior. While to deny God is to also deny personal moral accountability.

Each of those two freely made choices brings its own set of consequences along with it. The denial of accountability to moral law has absolutely no effect upon getting what is deserved as the natural consequences that follow every action.
