Still aren't used by evolution science to describe the process. You claimed they do, but it's only how you choose to describe it using insulting language.

Wrong...My actions acknowledge my moral accountability. Belief in God doesn't...AT ALL for the simple fact that plenty of "God fearing" folks fail MISERABLY on the moral front (Westboro Baptist, McVeigh, priests who have touched little boys, etc)

Trust me. I regard your childish denial of the intelligently ordered design of physical laws upon which you are completely dependent for your own existence in much the same way. ;)

The issue is that I'm tired of the God fan club always working to impose their beliefs on me that they are right and they need to pray for me because I am wrong and need to be saved. Saved from what? Some vision of an afterworld that other humans have concocted? Saved from my current situation that "he" allegedly allowed me to be in in the first place? :/

So, if you're praying to God to get your 3 hours over with at the dealership, I thought your God doesn't answer those types of specific requests and that he just works on his own terms? Doesn't it seem futile? Wouldn't it just seem a coincidence if all of a sudden your dealership visit ended on a good note and you give all the glory to God instead of just writing it off to pure coincidence? Why give credit to something that got you stuck in that position in the first place? Seems like quite the paradox.

Well wishes are completely different than prayers. Well wishes mean that you personally care for me. Prayers mean that you may care, but that you think your God has to get involved like it's some favor. If you're the new world sorcerer who somehow has the power to harness God's powers into your prayer, then show yourself unto me and demonstrate what God can do for me based on your prayers that he hasn't been able to do for me in the past 40 years on his own.

Each of those two freely made choices brings its own set of consequences along with it. The denial of accountability to moral law has absolutely no effect upon getting what is deserved as the natural consequences that follow every action.[/quote]

Everyone is personally accountable for their own behavior to exactly the same moral law regardless of what they believe.

With the denial of God comes the denial of any objective standard of right and wrong. By default, it then comes down to just your own subjective opinion of what you ~think~ is right and wrong.

    Even people who do what's wrong ~think~ they're doing what's right. ;)

It would bear no value to me whatsoever. Humility is supposed to be part of Christianity, but I see so few humble Christians. Car stickers advertising which church they are a member of, posting on FB talking about "my prayers go out to ...." like they are even really praying.

If someone is secretly praying for me, don't ever tell me. Keep it to yourself and exercise the humility that you're supposed to be. I'll handle the cranky service manager like a man and get the issue resolved myself.
