u go to church by choice. u go to school by law... why cant intelligent design be taught in school as science.

science by definition is the state of knowing : knowledge as distinguished from ignorance or misunderstanding
knowledge or a system of knowledge covering general truths or the operation of general laws especially as obtained and tested through scientific method

should be able to look at both sides of the each theory.. one of my friends biology teaches had to teach evolution even though he believed in intelligent design. he could no way mention intelligent design. and i never really understood why. give kids both sides to look and and let them come to there conclusion.

in fact the bible is very scientifically sound. there are numberous occasions where the bible is just that. the bible explains the earth water cycle at the time when Greek philosophers thought that fresh water came from the sea somehow finding a way up to the tops of mountains as fresh water springs. explains how the earth is round and hanging upon nothing when people thought the earth was flat or held up by sea turtles or some kind of animal.

so is evolution they teach it as fact but cannot explain or prove any of it. i believe in evolution as something changing over time because that is obviously evident. but how life on earth started no. there is no proof in that just as much there is no proof in saying that there was a intelligent designer.

That's because, like many non self reflecting secularists, you indiscriminately believe every thought that runs through your head as if you thought it.

God always keeps His promises. As long as you never take Him up on them by fulfilling your part... you never know for yourself.

There simply isn't time to teach both in a measly 13 years of school, so we opt to teach the one that makes logical sense.

that, and teaching the views of one religion in schools would be unconstitutional.

    Where did God come from?

I know it's been asked, just pointing out how Christians also believe something came from nothing.

Because creation assumes there were 400 year old people and that the grand canyon was formed in a few hundred years.

    Absolutely ridiculous.
