Don't believe in the rapture and as stated earlier, I believe that a creator could control population if he chose to do so.

The example you spoke of was the Peppered Moth in England. This is held up by many as a shining example of evolution, but here is what the English Medical journal On Call July 3, 1972 had to say about it:

“This is an excellent demonstration of the function of camouflage, but, since it begins and ends with moths and no new species is formed, it is quite irrelevant as evidence for evolution.”

If I have free will then there is no plan. As said, you cannot have both. Either he knows what I will do or he doesn't, which is it?

Are you saying that he only knows the plan IF I chose to follow?

OK so anyone can answer this, not directed at Ben. If I believe everything, and I follow without question just like you, except for paying my 10%, do I still go to hell?

Ok so lets say I am Tom Hanks from Cast Away, and I am on an island all by myself and I find buried treasures on this island but I have nobody to give 10% to because I am all alone. Still going to hell?

As far as I'm concerned you owe me money now!:D

To answer your question. Christianity only states that you "must" accept Christ as your personal savior and that he died on the cross for your sins. Everything else is pretty much inconsequential.

*Edit* God.... I sounded like a Christian there.... I need to go watch some porn or something..

Yes. Although if I ever were in one under fire, I suppose I may exclaim "Jesus fucking christ!" I've said this to some bolts on my truck, too. But not out of real piety.

Nothing else tagged in with "accepting" him as your savior? Like following the "plan"?

Blah blah blah master plan, blah blah blah free will, blah blah blah burn in hell inferior religion. Glad I could clear it up

    It IS a paradox. Yes.
Does that make it less true? No.

Romans 8 and 9 speak to this issue directly and it has sparked HUGE debates. Romans 8 essentially contradicts Romans 9, but never says they're contradictory. It's the same author talking to the same group of people. So people will side with the all-powerful God, or the all-loving. Because if God is all powerful and you follow that thought to its final iterations, then God can't be all loving, because that would mean He is the author of sin.

But if you do the same thing in reverse and follow the all-loving God though to its final iteration, then God can't be all-powerful because that would mean He has no control.

What most people land on anymore (aside from those that just want to argue) is that it's both and it only makes sense when you take into account that God is outside of logic, time, and what we believe is reasonable. He is not bound to our rules so why would it make sense that he should be completely understood by us, who are bound to all those things.

The argument is Calvinism vs Armenianism for those that are interested.

He didn't! We did! Man has free will, and man from day one has rebelled from God. Even the Israelites, Gods chosen people, when left to their own devices CONSTANTLY turned away from God. That's where we get the cycle of apostasy.
