Mother nature did that, and just because you don't understand something doesn't mean GOD must have done it

Which is where the whole god thing came about. To explain the unknown. Just like every other past belief systems who believed in a/some supreme being(s).

I ask because i don't know. Are all religions inline with the "creation" thing? or is it a christian thing only? Personally, I don't believe in the whole "Creation" fantasy.

The "creation" talk is involved with Science as well. In the grand scheme of things, a blink of an eye ago, Scientists would have agreed the world was flat. We can't be so arrogant to think we have evolved so quickly as the new scientific "theories" can explain anything. Although I am not a religious person, I respect it as at least it holds answers to these questions in the form of a God and faith. Science is arrogant, and constantly changing theories, in a way it is there form of "faith" but contradicts itself and changes with the times. It uses words such as "in the beginning" and so forth. Things are not linear, there is was no beggining, and there will be no end.

I think the planet and all the elements on it are part of the universe and we are what has evolved on this planet up to now. I think evrything that is alive here on earth is evolving as we speak. You cannot observe this as it takes place over millions of years or more. I think life HAS to be elsewhere in the universe as well. I don't think I am so special that GOD is paying attention to everything I do every second of my life either. At best, God put the conditions in place for life to succeed and evolve from there. That would be my version of CREATIONISM.

Most religions have some story of creation. They are all claim creation happened in a different way. Doesn't take a whole lot of reasoning to realize that all of them cannot be correct. :)

Science seeks to find the truth. It isn't arrogant. Theories change when new evidence/ data is used to contradict them. Theories are supported by evidence...faith is not. Gravity is a theory.

No offense, but gravity's been proven. It's a law... I think it's earned that title. Been tested pretty thoroughly...

Faith is something you don't have then, as it doesn't need to be supported by evidence. Yes, Science is arrogant. Science has been proven wrong time and time again, so it is not in a position to say faith needs to be supported by evidence. I will go back to my earlier example, at one time Scientists would have agreed the earth was flat, that was not too long ago. Imo, it has many faults.

Atleast religion has there truth, and it doesn't change. I respect that.

Did you say Science is arrogant? Religion is Arrogant. Science constantly test's itself and shifts when evidence is found to contradict the current theories. Religion does not do any of that. Religion just holds to one "story" and gives credit to GOD when something desirable happens, and explains bad events as "god works in mysterious ways",or "it's all part of Gods plan". A full proof alibi, to stay in control over the masses of followers. A breeding ground for corruption.

Yes, and it is a great truck, but it also isn't perfect. I am sure they will develope an even new and better version in a few years as they have learned of their mistakes with this one. They know this has faults, but they continue to build it anyway.

Who built the engineers who built my Taco?

What you are saying is religion already has the answers, and Science does not. I would agree.

Again, I am not a religious person, but who am I to say they are wrong.

Pretty sure they're not perfect either.

Come to think of it, what could you describe as "perfect"?
