    Sorry, I must have missed when a president of the United States was picked because of his religious beliefs. You're making it sound like the Pope came to the United States and picked out the president for us.

    I've never heard of Creationism being taught in public schools, they even went as far as attempting to taking out "one nation under God" in the Pledge of Allegiance, so why would they even think about teaching it in a classroom? Same goes for how Christianity infects every part of our government, I don't see this going on..

    That was obviously a comprison to a large portion of the world that is living under governments that do not allow the freedom we enjoy.

    Some candidates for president here would like to do just as leggo imagines. Hopefully that nightmare is never realized.

    Really? How well do you think the next republican nominee will do if he/she is not at the very least a christian? Mitt is going to have a very hard time being in a "cult" like the Mormons are. It was only a year or two ago when the entire school board in a small town in Pa. was fired because of the whole creationism thing. You think Perry is leaving religion out of his agenda? Pull your head out of the sand. You think it's just by chance we never had a Jew in the white house? Or a Muslim? There is NOT a separation of church and state. I don't believe any of that were gonna take "one nation under god " bs either. Email propaganda is all it ever is, or it shows up on Faux News for quick a raitings boost, then we never here it again.
