Too bad that poll left out another option: intelligent design

That view simply recognizes the intelligence in the design of life, and leaves the question completely open as to whatever that intelligence might be.

The human body has between 50 and 75 trillion cells.

If laid end to end, the DNA in just one cell is about one meter long.

Taking the lowest number of 50 trillion cells, that means if all of the DNA in just one human body was laid end to end, the line would be 50 trillion meters long.

    A meter is 3.280 feet.

Dividing 50 trillion meters by 3.280 gets 15.24 trillion feet which is about 2.88 BILLION MILES.

The distance from the Earth to the Sun is about 92 million miles

This makes the line of DNA from just ONE human body longer than 15 ROUND TRIPS from the Earth to the Sun.

Whoever can't see that is an intelligent design is fucking STUPID.

I agree with the intelligent design theory. Although evolution has been proven to an extent, there are huge holes in the theory. Like how life began. not how its come to be.

It takes 40 proteins to combine to make the most basic form of life.

I heard an analogy one time that its the same probability of a tornado ripping thru a junk yard and building a perfectly functional 747 for that to happen on its own in nature.

we as a society now have the technology to change DNA to clone to do all these amazing things genetically.

I know alot of people agree there may be life out there besides us. We have only advanced in technology so long ago.

Just a theory but there is definitely no slam dunk evidence of evolution as it has no evidence of how life was created.

I believe our ancestors experienced something. All major religions even alot of the smaller religions all have a similar story line. The names change, the places are different. But its basically the same story. That to me suggests that something happened globally and our legends and religion reflect that.

Harden your bark, there are storms on the horizon.
I challenge OZ to rebuild the arc with bible specs, with bible timeline, and with tools available around the time Noah supposedly existed.

Meanwhile, I want Jesus, Mohammed, Buddah, Oden, Zues, Osirus, and Apollo in a royal rumble cage match to see who is the one true messiah.

    These poll results are interesting.

    I just want to know
My viewpoint is scientific....just how I grew up. I'm a scientist, bros a scientist, dads a scientist...so I can't really see the "other side" that clearly

    Legit question
How does a creationist point of view explain the emergence drug resistant viruses?
