Actually...their public history is one of politics, and the 1st amendment.

They are a small group of loons who the media loves to parade across the 6 o'clock news. And the Westboro folks use shock opportunities to oblige them.

And I'm not at all confused.

It depends on a persons beliefs. I believe that they are wrong, hate the sin itself but not the sinner.

I believe they are opportunistic, and not confused at all. Misguided, yes...but not confused.

I don't know their origin, but I don't condone their actions in any way. I think they need to read the first four books of the New Testament over and over and over.

well so Religion, as previously stated, was made out to be love for thy fellow man, man being Human, I make no sexist joists, with that said, isn't the whole point about love? Acceptance is a form of love, no?

Exactly. I am fine being around people who oppose my views as long as they don't attack me or try to offend me.

I am....under-versed in those. For this reason. Muhammed didn't come seek me out, nor did Buddha, or Krishna, or no one. Jesus did. That was my experience, I can't deny the truth of that.

I believe he means , if you don't understand something you say it is God's plan , or God's doing and are satisfied with that answer whereas science tries to find the understanding

Throw up hands = give up trying to understand = your statements.

    Science doesn't do that.

Ahh ok, now I see what you meant. Not true, I don't quit because I am too simple to try and figure it out. I believe that God is behind everything, and whatever was scientifically behind this big bang will always be unknown because they can't prove it.

I obviously believe in science, I just know that we are only dealing with what we can perceive. Scientists admit that. Just because I haven't seen God doesn't mean he doesn't exist.

I'm a religous kinda guy myself. I may be young but i have done a good bit of research into both sides of this argument. If someone can tell me how the human conciousness evolved from a single-celled organism I will seriously rethink religion. If you give me solid concrete proof of how humans came to love, hate, know right from wrong, and know we are alive and concious then and only then will you give religion a solid blow. Cells have one purpose and one purpose only, what their strand of DNA tells them to do. Cells make proteins, transport nutrients and thousands of other things, but each cell only ends with one product. If humans evolved from cells, where did our free will come from? Why don't we have one purpose and one purpose only? Humans can do anything we want. Where did free will and our concious mind come from? Answer those and alot of creationists will reconsider their stand.
