Suspension, 33s, some armor... Rust, Gray wire and 2Low, and more. T4r is stock.
Down side to these things... the location data is crowd sourced so if you are away from a populated area it will be harder to track.

Up side... if the jackass that takes your truck (or whatever) has the app installed he will unwittingly lead you right to him.

So I was noticing, there's a fair amount of people who leave windows down as the weather is getting warmer. I finally got the proper in channel vent-visors and installed them so I can keep the windows cracked without them looking like they are. Still debating the motion sensor roll-em-up function...

I'd really like to paint up my rusty toolbox and rack, but the nicer my stuff looks it seems the more people mess with it. Plus I can't have nice things... The nicer something I have looks the more damage seems to be incurred to it. Don't know why that is. I'm trying to strike a balance with this truck. It's a little beat on but not bad, still stock. It kinda looks like a work truck owned by a worker who doesn't make that much money. I think that may do something for security.

By the way, that's kinda why I own a truck. This fella's hard on equipment. I do seem to notice though, it pays to personalize a rig in such a way as it don't look like everybody's dream girl. Give it some buck teeth and pimples so's it don't attract as much attention.

Well paint it, just enough to cover up the rust. Like a teenager would, you know a half ass job. Athe least it will keep some of the rust at bay.

you know I even considered just clear coating it so it still looks shitty but doesn't degrade. Man I really gotta move away from here... far away.

Here's an idea... What about putting a 50 cal. mount up there. Not the rifle, just the mount. That way it looks like a serious Jihad MF took a day off to do some shopping and you better not mess with his rig.

That's true man, but I always figured even before I moved here, Dodge could be crashin' in on you anytime. This world's only throwing all the elements together in intensifying proportions. We all gotta drive on the same roads, buy food at the same stores.

I actually feel I've gained valuable incite by living here and that once I calm down, in less threatening everyday surroundings I will still retain the instincts that could keep me and my "peeps" and my beloved tacoma of course out of harms way.

Yes, but you would be amazed at what a couple of miles could do.

Anyway man, no use getting soft in the 'burbs. If I manage to go anywhere it'll be out away from the populous and the same rules apply to making sure you're protected.

I agree, just in the last week I am fed up with California. Ready to move to the sticks, and put out some landmines.

It may seem a bit outlandish, but I really started this thread as a sort-of soldier of fortune type thing for first gen taco's. I take it with a grain of salt but hey, it's fun.

Plus I grew up on 007.

I try not to think about apocalyptic scenarios, but fail miserably. So yes I have a plan and prepared to execute

I don't really consider SHTF man! get prepped kinda things. I just don't want people fuck'n with my sh't. Its the same considerations any farmhouse, only light on in twenty square miles folks gotta consider. Except in my case, having lived where there are meth-head thieves crawling everyplace like zombies it is every time you go out.

Someone once said something I had heard before but never from an ex-meth-head so it seemed to ring. Something like... "You just gotta be harder to steal from than the next guy." I guess I need to keep that in mind. But I do invest in security measures with anything of value I own.

That is true, but there is always that one determined asshole that will get you eventually if you stick around long enough.

Musta been him, no in point of fact I know it was. Next door neighbor got into my locked compound in the space of 2 hours and made off with all my metal working equipment. Never could prove it but in a later incident got cops to swat team his house.
