Creative uses for tie-down cleats?

When I bought my truck in March I also purchased some of the OEM tie-down cleats on eBay. Then I discovered that they actually had put a set in one of the rear seat compartments . So now I have an extra set. I am leaning towards selling them but I'm wondering if there are some creative uses for 8 cleats.

Is this the rail behind the cab? Mine got removed when I had my Bakflip MX4 installed unfortunately

 

Haha, yeah I've considered that I might just appreciate having a bit more flexibility for where to tie down. I have a hard time wanting to bother to sell them for only $30.

 

I believe the thing that got removed is something different. 3rd gens do not have the cleat rail on the cab side of the bed

 

Ah, good to know. I’ll have to do some investigation.

 

As far as I know the rail was removed for the third gen but you can still buy the rail from the second gen and install it on the third gen.
