    Hey Folks

I had a mechanic remove a spacer lift kit the other day and now the steering wheel is turned a little to the right in order to go straight down the road. The diff drop kit is still installed, and I will take that out myself today (he forgot to take it out). Will removing the diff drop kit and the alignment I have scheduled for Monday address this?

    Thanks

Tell them when you get an alignment- "the steering wheel is off a ----- of an inch to the right" . They will adjust the tie rod ends on one side more than the other to center the wheel.

The steering wheel should be centered and locked in place, they have a tool holds the steering wheel centered while the toe is adjusted.

Any competent shop should always center the wheel when they align a vehicle

I think I have driven the truck 50 miles. I seriously doubt that I am destroying my tires. But then again, if I did, THAT WOULD GIVE ME AN EXCUSE TO GET SOME NEW MICHELIN LTX M/S's!!!!! HHHMMM!!!!

Alignment will fix this, its normal to need a alignment after installing/uninstalling spacers, if you paid for a alignment they should correct it for free if you didnt you should pay for one now.
