    If you want to leave at 0600, that's fine too. Rick might hate you, lol, but he's used to me wanting to get an early start. I figure from my house, it'll take 45 minutes to an hour to get up to SR 50 depending on traffic, so I could change the meeting time to 0700ish.

    I went out there once, actually the first wheeling trip with my Runner. I remember a nasty mud hole and nice scenery. Nobody I was with really knew the area and we ended up driving up to Citrus. I've always wanted to go back, hopefully you find some good spots.

    Thanks. I think I found that mud hole area off trail 5. It looks like there's some good hill climbs in that same pit as well from videos I've seen. I'm really looking for the one bowl area. It has some easy climbs up out of it, but there's a sketchier one in back and intel says behind there is a far more challenging area.

    I'll be sure to take some pictures, maybe some video, and report back on what we find.

    Well, we had an amazing day at Croom! It's a fantastic place. I would say it's better than Citrus. It's a lot smaller area, but it has just as many or more fun wheeling spots. And many of those spots are better than the ones at Citrus. Here's a few pics of the highlights...

    An amazing climbing area. Everything from mild to "yer insane"...

    There was some other random stuff out there as well... sand gullys, random mud holes with real mud (the black kind, not the orange Citrus kind), deep sand areas.

    We discovered a particularly fun time when it started pouring down rain while we were out there. It actually made things a lot of fun.

    The only hiccups we had was the Odd Green Tree Magnet bumped another tree while attempting a hill climb and now I have a nice dent on my left front fender to match the one on the left rear. Frank has video of it happening and the aftermath. I took some as well, but I think there's something screwy with my camera since a lot of the pics I took were blurry. Frank got stuck twice and as we were leaving, just after pulling out onto SR 50, the Odd Green Taco just died on me. Frank had to tow me to the gas station and I was almost about to call AAA, but I decided to try unplugging the MAF to see it that made any difference. For some reason it did. Then I plugged the MAF back in and it was running fine. Pulled the codes when I got back to town and it seems like it started with a malfunctioning (possibly wet) O2 sensor. Long story short, the Odd Green Taco made it home under its own power.

    I also have some video I'll try to get edited and posted. It's not Blackhorse quality, but oh well.
