    LOL. It's not that bad around here as long as you stay away from certain places. You know.... Southern Baptist campuses.

    If it's not apparent, I am envious of your trip. I miss these kinds of treks with my girlfriend (now wife). Having kids limits my road trip opportunities, but the oldest is 5.5 and like-minded. We make a couple weekend treks a year.

    Upstate isn't nearly as bad as down near NYC. I have NYS CCW permit and just got my Utah non-resident CCW permit the other day, which gives me full carry in 32 states. Now, I just have send in the NH application and I pick up NH and PA, as well. After that, a very nice road trip could be made while carrying legally. :thumbsup:
