Well I have been dealing with a heavy vibration at highway speed and also it gets even more severe when braking
Here is my post on all of that-
    (http://www.tacomaworld.com/forum/1st-gen-tacomas/338050-50mph-vibration-help.html)
and finally I got under my truck to do some more inspecting because i have done the following
    -Rotated and balanced tires
-Replaced rear drums, shoes and springs
    -Replaced front rotors
    -Replaced driveshaft Center carrier bearing
    -Greased drive shaft

And after all that it still vibrates and is harsher when braking. I took a look at my transmission mount on my crossmember to make sure that the bushings were in good shape and then I noticed that there were no bolts holding my mount to the cross member. The mount was just sitting on the crossmember. Is this how it should be? I recently had my frame replaced via recall and it looks like they missed a big one? Here are some pictures. One is the mount sitting on the cross member and the other is from below the cross member where it appears to be missing bolts. Any help would be awesome on this since I am supposed to drive across the country on monday because I am moving to NorCal. Thanks in Advance!!!

Did the dealer do all the work to try and eliminate the vibration? If not I think they owe you more than just four bolts.

Are they special bolts because they much have bigger holes on the cross member than the threads for the mount

No, the bolts are actually a 8mm thread, 12mm head bolt, that is only about 12-14mm long with large washers. They are missing obviously. I would contact the dealership that did the frame recall and give them a chance to make it right.

Here is a photo of 2 of those bolts. It looks like a special 2-hole washer is used from the factory.

Just picked up my truck and they re-torqued everything and then they did an alignment and then gave me 8 oil filters and 2 air filters along with it and washed the truck. I was pleased with their taking care of the issue and the service manager test drove it himself and was very helpful. No vibration yet but I will be keeping an eye on it.
