Just hit Reno. So pumped. Also, the guy i work with in the old school F350 decided to go. If you guys see an old guy roaming around looking lost in the morning. That's him. His name is Robert. Lool.

Hot dog what a weekend. Had a great time, took about 500 pictures. I'll get through some of them tonight. Started at Bordertown 915A on Thursday at the border of NV and CA. Then headed east. After 4 long days, and 798.6 miles, we arrived at 345P in Montello on the NV UT border. My wife took most of these. Airing down at Pyramid Lake.
    Matt, Sam, me, Robert.

I had a great time meeting and running with everyone. The diversity of landscapes and climates in Nevada is amazing. Thank you to everyone.
This is my round trip mileage.

Man what a fantastic trip. It was great meeting/hanging with everyone and the ground we covered was phenomenal. I’ll post up some of my stats and pics later on.

Goshute cave area was pretty cool, primitive camping with big views of the valley, it was kind of buggy though and seemed like prime mountain lion country. I slept with my 1911 under my pillow and was startled awake a couple times by the wind. Woke up the next morning at 5a and bounced down to Ely then back across the state to Reno. About 12 miles outside of Austin got pulled over by the fuzz for going 10 over in a 55. I knew the encounter was probably not going to result in a ticket when he asked what size tires I was running and how well they were wearing. Then he asked if my truck wheeled well :) Ended up checking my license for warrants and then letting me go with a warning. Then pulled into Austin and saw a white taco with kick up sliders at the café there in town. They ended up passing me on hw 50 a little later on. Not sure who it was.

I’ll post pics once I get them downloaded. Thanks for the great time!

Oh and then when I got home I spent about 4 hours cleaning out the 50lbs or so of sand from the truck. After I washed it I notice i missed a bunch of cow shit on the bottom of my sliders.
