I know this is kind of an odd question, but I'm looking for answers on other boards as well.

I'm wondering if the factory Bilstiens off a 2010 TRD OR Tacoma would fit a 2008 T4R V8 as a temporary replacement for the XREAS system, and which might have leaky/blown air bags in the RAS and be riding on the bump stops in the rear.

Also curious if the factory shocks from the Tacoma might be an improvement over the ones currently on the 4Runner, or if they're going to ride lower because of the heavier engine.
