It really pisses me off towards the end of a workout and I'm tired and I can't get more than one and sometimes can't even get one. I just want to scream and throw the damn jump rope.

I've done this many a time :D I go ape shit. Just don't pumch metal objects as ytour hand will swell and it's jacked up for 3wks. Fun looks from people outside the gym when you're screaming obscenities like a crazy person lol.

In regards to stupid man friday - short Nancy (3rds 400m run and 15 OHS 95#) followed with a 10 min rest into EMOTM 5 burpees and 50 thurusters @ 135#. The way it worked was do 5 burpees then try and bust out 4 thrusters. took me 16rds . On a positive not they talked my buddy and me out of 155#

For some reason I like the short ropes better and I use the wire ropes. Fucks up the top of my feet though like no other

Just pisses me off more when I whip my feet hands or arms. It's actually pissing me off now just thinking about it.

LMAO! It's so true. They are right though, Crossfit exposes your weaknesses.

Haven't tired those out and don't plan on it. They creep me out a little. Pluse if I drop a weight on those, I will lose some toes.

Eh I did break my pinkie toe and it was the most retarded injury ever, I swear. You would not believe how much you need it. All I kept thinking of was Heartbreak Kid when he was talking about the Patagonia rep lol. Did a full Murph with it freshly broken too which sucked balls FWIW. Overall though, insanely great product and there really is such a big difference. They get my recommendation. I know there aer other shoes out there like them that look normal but chucks are the next best thing

I'm such a wuss when it comes to my feet. I step on a pebble and I cringe in pain. Put me in those things and I'll never make it more than 2 steps.

A bunch of people are using the 5 fingers things at my gym, I dont think I will try. I am always wearing shoes. I take them off when we do big weight lifts because everyone says it helps. I dont really notice a difference.

It is pricey but so worth it. You will always have a crossfit instructor there watching over the workout making sure you are doing things right and your form is perfect. They are incredibly encouraging. All the fellow crossfitters are incredibly supportive no matter what your abilities are.

I will never go back to the regular box gym to do regular weight lifting. The results you'll see in yourself through crossfit are more impressive and better than you'll get going to the gym by yourself. Every workout is challenging and crossfit can be as hard as you want it to be. I really can not say enough good things about it. Everyone that does it, loves it. Give it a chance and you'll be hooked. Just be prepared to sweat and receive an ass kicking.

I've never done it before. I just found out about it this week through my gym. There is going to be quite a few of us doing it here. Probably going to have some team shirts for us. I'm excited. Looks fun and challenging.
