Passion is what drives us! Much respect and good luck!

Go zone first and then transition to Paleo, might be easier IMHO. I'm switching to paleo zone and it's going good but it's kinda hard with a pregnant wifey lol.

No offense taken by me either. To each his own. But like stillfly, I'm very passionate about crossfit. In the 3 months that I've been doing it, I've made huge gains and have seen results in my conditioning, strength and body.

Ok, All I have to do is go talk to the trainers. I started to but I get confused easy

Ya I love it because it works your conditioning too. Its insane. I llove the workouts that you run 3 miles and doing your workout in between the laps.

Since it's now cold and winter here we don't do any running, so the owner thought it would be a grand idea if we did rowing instead of running. Not sure which I like least, running or rowing.

Angie is a fucking bitch, I am so pissed at that whore. She got me 4 blisters, and all 4 ripped, but not just ripped, decided to tear away the skin around it too. By the time I got my 100 pullups done I had the bar covered in blood and blood covering my hands, then had blood all over the floor doing pushups, it sucked big time

Interesting how some people will bash a workout because they like something different.

Over the years, I've done them all--from powerlifting to bodybuilding to crossfit.

To each their own--as long as they're doing something.

However, I do think its kinda funny to hear some bloated lifter who does nothing but bench and half-squats--with belts, wraps, gloves, powders, chalk, protein shakes in gallon milk jugs, special shirts and latex panties--bash crossfit when he probably couldn't sprint more than 50 yards without having an aneurysm...

Today was Chelsea, EMOTM (every minute on the minute) of 5 pullups, 10 pushups, 15 squats. Holy hell, my arms are shot, especially after Angie (100 pullups, 100 push ups, 100 sit ups, 100 squats) yesterday. For some reason this is hell week for us.

They keep saying her sisters and cousins are showing up this week. I am not looking forward to it. But its the price you gotta pay. I am already seeing a huge improvment in a month, seeing some definition too :D

Let me know what you get. I maxed out at 120 on press, and I was almost able to get 195 on clean and jerks. Good luck

Turns out I'm pretty much a little bitch. I was feeling really weak today. Didn't help that I really didn't do much eating today. I was a little shakey at the gym. Don't know if it was lack of food or excitement from max day. But I was only able to get up 185 for the push jerk. That went up fairly easy enough and I just couldn't manage to get any more.

2 weeks ago we did press and I got 135. Last week we did push press and I got 175. So I figured I'd get more today but I just wasn't getting deep enough to get the weight up. Ah well, next time.

Ya, kick its ass next time. We had hell week. I guess it was from the main site. Today we did Barbara, 5 rounds of 20 pullups, 30 push ups, 40 sit ups, 50 squats. We started out with 5x1 clusters (clean thrusters) started at 135, ended with 175. I think over the last 3 days I hav done 315 pullups, 480 push ups, 300 situps (only 2 days), and 695 squats. I am shot.

Yep, still glad I am at a different gym than you. You are going to need some serious recovery. I hate thrusters oh so much...Well there's a lot of things at crossfit I don't like.

I finally screwed up my right bicep completely today. We have the option of doing an olympic lift workout after the WOD. Usually theres some pain after a workout, but I couldn't even finish the olympic lift workout.

Diet is the name of the game gents. You bonk and your recovery is shite without it. The zone is so easy once you get it figured out. On the topic of hands, get one of those callous removers now! Not the pediegg either, get the handled one with the grater on one side and the pumice stone on the other. Once you start taking care of your hands real good, you'll never rip again. Lol just kidding but you will definately not rip nearly as easy and change your grip. Coach Rippetoe has a vid on the main site about how to grab bars.

Stillfly: You lucky dog! I love crossfit/benchmark weeks. They definately suck but you'll be good. Mkae sure you're drinking close to if not more a gallon a day; water if you're not doing gomad.

Blowham: I went to MBS in Broomfield a couple times but didn't make it to any other boxes out there. Next time I'm on leave, I'll hit you up

I wish you came to my gym. We already have like 6 Taco's at the class I go to. And another across the street. I have been feeling the same way with my elbow. I hurt it on the clean and jerks. Make sure you rest it, I dont know about your gym but the guys at mine are pretty damn knowledgable when it comes to injuries.

Ya, I know it is making me better, I just cant do pull ups right because I have 4 torn blisters on my palms so I have to do finger pull ups, and on top of that I got 2 more blisters tonight doing it that way :(. Its gonna pay off. I try to drink as much as possible, but I dont think its anywhere near that amount.
