I kinda want to do that after I saw it. There is no way in hell my FD would let me take a B.A. to the gym though. :(

some how i was able to shave 2 minutes off my fran time. i was pretty stoked. im kinda thinking that it has something to do with the fact that the one time ive done fran it was like the first week i was in the gym. good times though. also help that i was going against one of my close buddies. so doing the thrusters we were staring each other down and "motivating" each other.

Did more muscle ups today then I have ever done. Did a total of 24. Not in a row. 3 per round of the WOD. There was suppose to be a total of 10 rounds but I had one tear on my right hand and could feel another one coming on so I stopped doing muscle ups. I now have several blisters on each hand. But it was good practice on those today and I feel like I may just reach that 10 muscle up in a row goal come july.

I hope everyone had some fun last week. That time doesnt look bad at all Jon. Tuesday will be my first day back because I have to work tomorrow. Might try to do a half cindy or something just to see what I get. I reallly missed it while I was at work last week. The instructor of the academy was trying to make things all hard core for PT because we always complain the hike doesnt do anything for us because its flat. You guys will get a kick out of this work out. I sure did.

You do all this with a partner. You each have to do the reps. At the end you guys both pull the hose at the same time
    -10 tractor tire flips
-10 sledge hammer hits on a tractor tire
-Carry 3 sand bags for 20 yards, cant let one touch the ground, and have to pass through a tractor tire
    -Bear crawl 20 yards
    -Crab walk 20 yards
-25 yard 3" charged hose drag

It was a joke, the only reason I was breathing hard was because I hate working out when I first wake up and I didnt get a chance to warm up. We had to do 2 rounds, BUT there was about a 30 min break inbetween rounds.

We did some deadlifts today, did 2-2-2-2-2-2-2 trying to get your 2 rep max. We had too many people working on one bar so I only got 4 or 5 rounds in. I got 405. Probably could have gotten more. The 2nd rep was a lot easier for me than the first for some reason. They posted this video, I though it was pretty bad ass. 953lb deadlift  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gOMX29g8QVM&feature=player_embedded

^^That looked entirely to easy, there was no struggle at all. Are we sure that was 953lb regardless of what that woman said?

Hey guys! :) Hope yall are all doing well. I haven't been "working out" since I started my new job. But I am doing a large variety of some pretty serious physical labor daily. Between shoveling, digging, laying concrete, filling/moving large buckets of mud, etc. I am working out more now than I have in years. Once this job is over, I bank on CrossFit coming back into my life. I'll definitely need it if I go back to a desk job. Until then, I'm working usually all but 2 hours between 7am and 11pm. Oh, and just so yall do know, I am loving this. I'm actually getting pretty strong and have built up a really good endurance for this kind of physical labor. Not making a ton of money, not enough for any MODs, but enough to live on.

Dont feel bad! I havent either. I'm on injured reserve right now, lol. Had some crazy shit go on w/ my right eye (Central serous chorioretinopathy), so I've sidelined myself until I get official clearance to do intense workouts from the retinal specialist. Its been a week already and I'm so depressed. Going from 5x/wk workouts to 0 is really a bummer.
