Crossfit is legit period. Glad to have you buddy.

Well did a Hero WOD today to make up for yesterday and decided to do Tillman once I saw it. Always was a huge fan of Pat Tillman so I figured I would honor him. It was:

    7 Rounds
    7 Deadlift 315#
1 full gasser (4X50 yard runs consecutive)
    15 pullups

I think I got 30:30. I was surprised at how much of an ass kicker it was.

Missed out on Murph yesterday. Last year was 46:01 with vest so it woulda been interesting to compare. Was worried about my heel though from last week plus had babies and cleaning house yesterday that took forever. Today I found the heel had no impact on lifts as I set 4 out of 5 PRs.

    WOD: Crossfit Socal Total
With a continuously running clock, you have 4min to warm up with your weight/lift and then 4min to max for a total of 8min per set.

    CFSCT Score: 1535 -PR

    Power Clean: 250# -PR
    Squat: 365# -PR
    Bench: 265#
    Deadlift: 485# -PR
    Press: 170# -PR

Nice, glad to see everyone still going. After I did all those DL's we did Max 1 rep Rack Jerks-225PR and then the WOD was

    50-40-30-20-10
    53lb KB swings
    Sit ups

Doing that WOD after the deadlifts was NOT a good idea. My back was screamin. It took me forever to finish the WOD but I was in no way going to go down in weight. I didnt even look at my time after :D

As long as you're straight out at the bottom and top, try a snatch type move to get the weight up. Saves your back a lot!

these past two days have been pretty tough. yesterday was just fun but hard. 3-3-3-2-2-2-1-1-1 find your max clean. i hit 205 and that was easy but for some reason i just couldnt get under 215. just kept psyching myself out.

today was brutal. 135# thrusters 12-10-8-6-4 with double unders in between 50-40-30-20-10
    like 12/50, 10/40, 8/30..so on so on. time 12:58

What the hell happened to everyone? I go back to work and you guys just give up? :pout: How is everyone doing? Before I started back at crossfit my mile time was above 7:00. Ran a mile today and I pushed myself and I ran 5:53. Then we did Diane and I got 10:46. Pretty good day, I am happy with it. How is everyone else doing?

Not getting in CrossFit too much. Though, I do a whole lot at work. I've toned up (and gotten darker) the last 6 weeks of working. Getting laid off after this week though, so I will most likely be jumping back on the CrossFit train. Or still working like a dog just to stay in good shape. Much more enjoyable when a paycheck is involved.

BTW, do any of yall rock climb (indoor or real rocks)?? I went last weekend and that's one hell of a good workout!

Too big?? Come on, its all about keeping your hips and core close to the wall, and then keeping extremities as close to the core as you can. It's so much fun! But one hell of a workout too.
