Ya, I know it is making me better, I just cant do pull ups right because I have 4 torn blisters on my palms so I have to do finger pull ups, and on top of that I got 2 more blisters tonight doing it that way :(. Its gonna pay off. I try to drink as much as possible, but I dont think its anywhere near that amount.[/quote]

Yeah dude your hands will heal. Neosporin and bandaids work best. Rest your joints the most, I took 6 wks off for my knee. And definately drink more water!

Speaking of knee's :( my knee was bugging me so much today that I got pulled from the WOD. I've been pushing myself a lot lately (past 3 weeks) and all the rowing before class has finally caught up to me. I've been banned from lower body, leg, and rowing workouts for the next week and half. It's all upper body from here on out and then the head trainer will evaluate me. Hopefully I with some rest and recovery I will be back at full strength in no time. :)

^ Good luck and good thing your trainer is looking out. Sucks man I lost so much with that 6 weeks off but I'm gaining it back. I was overtraining alot (2 heavy o lifts WODs a day) just cause I love it so much and next thing you know there were 2 pops on the outside of my knee. Dunno if it was my OTB band and of course being in the gym on base and not my box I kept going  Just make sure you rest up and keep up with your upper body so you don't lose it all like I did (MY EFFING MUSCLEUP!)

Chalk is awesome for pullups and other barbell lifts, but nothing will ever cure the hand tearing that kettlebells bring

I was using chalk when they tore. Its just once they start there is nothing you can do. All we really did today was a 1.5 mile run. Sirmarlon, you will be back, just get some rest and do what they say. You'll be back in action and kickin ass in no time.

That's true, once the initial tear happens, there is no turning back. Just wrap some tape around the common areas and get back to the pain.

Chris: like stillfly said, you'll be back in action in no time. Don't know about the kickin ass part (at least not for me) or maybe he meant getting your ass kicked. ;)

I have never ripped before, but then again I have never done 100 pullups as fast as I can before. They are healin pretty well now. They have some tricks at the gym, I just didnt think I needed to take care of them yet. :(

Dude the best is when you're just biting the old skin off or cutting off your calluses with people watching. Just makes em think you're that much crazier hahahahaha

im not into that stuff. but some people need that type of "push." like P90X hip hop abs, crossfit. i just stick with 24 hour fitness, 7 days a week. p90 and crossfit cant help you bench 315 and still weigh only 178. that's why i don't do it.

Benching 315 wont help you run a faster mile either, which is why we do it. I'd take being in great shape and great cardio over being able to bench 315 any day.
