 480 for reps!? Damn bro that's awesome! You damn shorter guys have less travel involved :p As far as the cardio....ah I may be maintaining but I've been focusing more on lifts and heavy weight. Like the big shirt crew says; running's for suckers

where you vertically challenged people get hurt at is wall balls and box jumps. but for the power lifting moves, you've got it made

I'll agree with you on the wall balls. I gotta get more power behind the dang ball. haha. But I got a pretty decent box jumps. somewhere in the neighborhood of 54 1/4"

Have you all heard how sectionals are to be held? It will be one wod every Saturday for 6 weeks at your own box. Your box will have to record and submit times every Saturday for the 6 weeks. It takes the fun our of competition since there is no crowd or other athletes outside your box.

That sounds pretty odd right there. Maybe they are having too many competitors from the regions and now they have to do something to make the sectionals even smaller :notsure: All I know is this shit has skyrocketed from the first games where all you had to do was show up to regionals, then sectionals, and now this.

Yeah but in our area MBS and front range are big enough to hold them at, or use like the coliseum or something.

Just did the filthy 50 prescribed in 31.09. If it wasnt for effhing wall balls I would have been sub 20's. I suck at wall balls cant keep a rhythm at all but saved time in double unders only stopped once.

    For time:
50 Box jump, 24 inch box
    50 Jumping pull-ups
    50 Kettlebell swings, 1 pood
    Walking Lunge, 50 steps
    50 Knees to elbows
    50 Push press, 45 pounds
    50 Back extensions
50 Wall ball shots, 20 pound ball
    50 Burpees
    50 Double unders

Nice job! I HATE wall balls. If you really wanna do a hideous WOD, do Karen (150 wall balls) for time then add 4 burpees at the top of every minute. :puke:

From what I understand they want sectionals to be even bigger. Shooting for something like 10,000 people to sign up. With that many not all gyms across the country are big enough or coordinated enough to hold an event. Whatever the case is, HQ is pissing me off. Either way I'm still going to do better than Devin ;)

yeah but state patrol was huge where they had last years. And there is enough revenue from the crossfit community that we could get the Colosseum or a venue of the sort. Oh and I hope all the comps are heavy weight thats all lol! I know it wont happen but a guy can hope!

Did Lynne yesterday. My numbers have flip flopped. Totally crapped out on the 5th round.

    235 bench
    9/20 Pullups
    8/17
    6/15
    5/17
    3/2

Hands were on fire that last round even on the bench.

I don't think Denver is the issue its the country as a whole they want more people from.

Going snowshoeing sunday you in?

It would be cool if gyms got together for it.
You can post-pone your bushes plan. I went boarding today and my knee hurts now. No snow shoeing for me, I'll be at work as usual.
