Just drop the kid off at a fire station. I hear you can do that with no repercussions

$50 for a workout?!? That's hysterical actually. Just joined the box that opened in my hood, $100 a month.

$100 a month around here will barley get you 3 days a week in a box.

I just started to get to know gym owners and a few of my friends have opened there own gyms so I use them for free. Plus my fire department is an affiliate so we have CF gyms in all of our fire houses.

Brandon wants to be my wife's personal trainer. She just had a baby an needs the help losing the weight but I'm not going to be the one to push her I to anything.

I got all of you beat....I pay $190/month for unlimited or $175 for 3/week. Sucks, but thats the going rate in the area of town that I live. Luckily my company reimburses me $50/month towards a fitness center, so I guess I'm at $140 out of pocket. Still a lot of $$$$$$$:(

That's about what it is here. $185 I think for unlimited. I got a fire discount down to $125 a month. But like I said I stopped goin into a gym on a regular basis.

That's great that they give FD discount rates. My box actually lets Wounded Warriors join for Free! We have several (20+) single and double amputees, and those guys are amazing. My box is actually developing a curriculum (for lack of a better word) for coach amputees in a crossfit setting. Pretty cool.:)

Heck yeah! Most around here do fire, military, police. Some do nursing staff as well. But free to wounded warriors is awesome!

Wow that's really great! I thought I was good at $100 but it'd be nice if my box had that wounded discount.

    Did "Mary" today!

    20min AMRAP

    5 handstand pushups
    10 pistols
    15 pullups

I got 9 2/3 rounds. Ripped the calus off of my left hand during 3rd round of pullups. Handicapped me a little after that, but not too bad.

Those pullups get realllllllly slow toward the end. :)

That sounds like a fun one. I may try that tomorrow. I'll be traveling for work and I don't think there is a box where I'm headed, but there is a gym.
