I might be up for this run if I am still in town. Hopefully by then I will have my Allpro armor and my ARB locker in to keep me from doing the 2 wheel boogie. At the least I will have the yellow wire mod done for some poor mans A-trac.

Here's some pics of the actual trail (back way):

This is about the norm near the bottom:

    There's a few of these

lots of boulder washes but they're pretty much like this (few spots have some larger boulders but aren't much worse)

Also to mention, there are bypasses to almost all of the hard climbs that aren't pictured here.

yeah each hill theres like 4 different ways to go up. i was solo when i did it so i did almost all the easy ones. only had free wheel spin once (no locker) but backed down a foot and hit a different angle and went right up it

There's angles to hit everything at a crawl in 4 high. I took the bypasses on most of the nasty stuff and tackled a few with no problem or hits to the undercarriage. I never went into 4 lo once on this trail, nor did I air down the first time. This time I'll probably air down from 35 to 20-25 just for some extra grip and cushion on the boulders but we should be good.

This definitely look fun.. I really hope my 3" lift and 32's can make it.. this is why I want armor. But at the same time I don't because of the extra weight and I want to keep the truck stock and clean.. i guess ill just see how it does on this trail and use it for the deciding factor.

You will be fine with 3" and 32's. What tires are you running?

edit: n/m, just saw you are running the nitto grapplers. Those should grip plenty

We made some of these climbs with stock bumpers and had no issues. It's all about tire placement.

Well think about it and give me a realistic price. I know it's new and I'm not looking for a steal but I am interested in getting one and it would fit my truck so...

Cool.. I've had jeep wrangler with a 4" lift and 33s and a 2001 Tacoma with a lift and 32s and did tons of technical stuff, definitely all about tire placement and staying on top. But with this new Taco I'm still unsure what the accent and descent angles are with the lift. Don't want to F it up since its new and my DD. Im sure ill learn a lot about it this trip.

Sounds good to me. I need to go through my finances being that I'm spending a ton on our move to Peoria this week and next. Just want to be able to justify the expense. I've wanted to get one of these for a while for having a truck tent (still only have ground tents).

I'd like to check it out in person to see the fitment/quality etc. Can we make that happen?
