i will bring it on the Crown run. and you can see if you like/fit then. hows that? i ended up getting both. i have a nice big ground tent and a truck tent. truck tent is obviously great if you dont have to leave camp for any reason. easy to put up, mostly. but limited on storage space as far as girls and their luggage. hence why we took the ground tent to the beach last month.

No need to haul that thing on the trail run and add extra weight/gear. I'm moving out to Peoria/Glendale next week so unless you're in a bigger hurry to sell it sooner we can hook up out on that side of town to check it out.

For the dunes I have the sweetest setup. I bring a 5x7 trailer cause I bring too much crap to all fit in my truck. I put the truck tent in the trailer, it fits pretty good and the trailer is longer than the tent so it gives a little "mat" to wipe your feet on or put your shoes. That way I can still drive my truck around all weekend and have my tent off the ground and solid :D

We do the same kind if thing. We have a small enclosed trailer with the bikes and quads, then sleep In that and still have the truck. BUT.. for a technical/crawling trip a trailer just wouldn't work. Lol.

Talked to Brandon from Avid Off-Road and he might join us on this run. He's busy as hell but said he'd put it on his calendar and see how his workload is at the end of the month.
