I will make the trip... but come in from the north via Prescott. Have an FJ buddy coming with. Not sure if anyone else is up in the north country and would like to make the trip. Sub'ed for future reference.

Great to have you! Based on the 4x4 group size, the Friday group should be up top at Hazlett campground in time for lunch. Pick a site and set up if you're there ahead of us.

Once you confirm you are definitely going, I'll add you to the list.

prolly not mine then... got a 06 silver double cab off road prerunner with 5100s on all corners and a wheelers progressive pack. stock off roads with 265/75 dynapros. I'll get a little more serious when i upgrade to a dif truck. there are a bunch of modded tacos up here. but upon closer inspection 9 outta 10 have spacers and blocks.

I have spacers - hasn't stopped my truck... Only thing that has stopped my truck so far is the lack of lockers but damn sure hasn't been the spacers and AAL.

To all, yes I am an asshole. I admit it! Don't take any of my flash in the pan rants personal. Some stuff I take personal and go off on sometimes. Those that know me personally will vouch that I am usually a good asshole to know. I don't have any issue with anyone personally, if I do I will confront you directly, not in public. To anyone I offended I will buy a round of beer next time I am up in Phoenix (Ugh, this is going to get expensive). Don't ever think because I went off at one point or am an asshole you can't call on my to help bury a body or literally pull you out from between a rock and a hard spot.

On that note, my previous post still stands if one or two people want to go do the crown king with me this summer, just don't be offended I don't want to camp with you, its nothing personal. It has more to do with spending time with my girlfriend's (who I will probably marry) kid I am trying to spend time with.

On that note note, have a great run and please accept this flying shark as an apology!

The first time I ever ran Crown King was before they graded it, and I had spacers and AAL only (with 4x4 though, no lockers). It did fine.

I was a little concerned because I had watched some videos of the back road to CK and even super modded fully locked Jeeps were having problems in some areas. I'm guessing there are bypasses for some of the extreme areas.

Everything has bypasses. There are only 1 or 2 bypasses that you have to give it a little gas but they are not challenging unless you are completely new to off-roading or are 2 wheel drive with street tires. Most of those videos are from a couple years ago when the trail was in its worst condition it has been in almost a decade. That's when I hit it with the spacer lift :)
